Bergen Designs' Policies
Please note that the memorial benches are paid in full when ordering and all sales are final since these are custom orders. We accept Visa/Mastercard and Check. There is no risk to you as we guarantee the safe delivery or shipment to you with free replacement of any damaged pieces (rarely occurs). Pictures are taken of the final completed bench and e-mailed to you prior to shipping/delivering for your approval
Once the order is placed we will work up several mock designs for you to choose from showing the text you desire. We will issue you a ship date/delivery date once the order is placed.
The shipping cost is included in the price of all of our benches and covers shipping throughout the Continental U.S. excluding remote areas where delivery is not possible. Shipping methods are either made by UPS or by Roadway/Yellow Freight depending on the size and quantity of the order. When UPS is used a tracking # will be e-mailed to you when the shipment leaves our facility so you can see the estimated time of arrival. When Freight trucking is used we will notify you of the expected delivery date but a driver will contact you at least a day before to schedule a time to meet at your home during business hours Monday through Friday. With an order of one bench only, you will be required to assist the driver with unloading the bench from the tailgate or we can add an additional $85.00 for them to lower it to the ground with a lift gate. Otherwise with more than one bench a lift gate will be supplied at no extra charge. Please contact us shortly after the delivery is made to inform us that everything has shipped OK.

Return Policy
- Because each piece is custom designed, all Sales are Final. When shipping, we assume all responsibility for it arriving safely. Any pieces that are broken during shipping will be replaced no additional cost. Only broken pieces can be returned.
* You must contact us immediately after the shipment is received to document any broken items. We will not be responsible for replacing any items that are not reported to us immediately after the shipment is received (within 24hours). We also will not be responsible for pieces broken by the customer while moving or installing.
Please keep in mind that all of the pieces are naturally quarried and every piece has a bit of character from the millions of years of formation and compression along with the mining and cutting processes. Scratches, hairline fissures, mineral deposits, and other imperfections are considered normal and will not affect the strength of the stones used for benches, tables and signs.
Order Tracking
- If you'd like to track your order, you can go to the UPS
web site and enter the tracking number that you received in the e-mail
we sent you when we shipped your order. When we ship via freight transport, a tracking number will be emailed to you.
